Bank Holiday

Wow! what an amazing bank holiday weekend I have had. We attended my  friend's Wedding which was so wonderful and special. Her house is gorgeous and she had a large tee pee tent in the garden which was so different and something i have never seen before. We were also lucky that it was a nice sunny day and the kids could run around and play outside with there new friends. It was really good to get away with my hubby for a couple of nights. Because of our shop we never really get to see each other in the morning, for our entire relationship Paul has had to get up and out of the house before we are up, so having him there for two whole mornings was so special,  I didn't want him to go back to work this morning but as its bank holiday Monday he only has to open the shop till 12pm and we are going to take a walk down to our local pub who are holding a vintage and Craft Fair today.

Next event is Baby's First Birthday in a couple of weeks so I am trying to think of a cake to make him. Its one of my favorite things about the kids birthdays every year I make them a different  cake, which is one of my hobbies. I get to see there little faces light up when they see there cake, even though its never perfect.

This year I made 70 Mario Cup Cakes for Ewans (which was last week) so he could take them to school and Beavers plus I made my first rainbow cake for us after tea.

Next time i am going for more colours !

As for crochet i have been really busy, i made owl and Flower Fairy hats for my niece and nephew

Had to get my kids to model them before i sent them off.

For the wedding i made Molly this lovely little bolero

As well as my CAL Square

So that about it at the moment. now i have lots of unpacking and washing to do!!!
