Oh my goodness,its been ages since i have had a minute to sit down and write a post on here! i suppose that the joys of being back in full time work! If i am not at work i am at college and if i am not at college i am at home doing gala work or my home work or just being with the kids!
Time seems to be really flying at the moment with not a lot to spare. I started in my new department at work after my training had finished and a couple of weeks ago now i got a promotion to Deputy Team Leader, not bad considering i had only been on my section for a week! We have both had lots of switching around with timesin our jobs to get everything sorted as we had really struggled with being able to get childcare but we have managed in the end with me taking the kids to school and working later and Paul starting earlier and collecting the kids from School.
Gala wise i have some BIG News!!!
We had the choosing and Molly got chosen as the Gala Princess 2017!!!
She is so excited and its well deserved as she has gone for this role before and on the 4th time she got it!! despite being the chair person i have always stayed away from the judging for this reason.
The last couple of years we have had some tears from Molly, but she kept at it and its paid off.
Now we have the challenge of fitting decorating the float along with everything else we have to do, but Paul has been really creative and come up with a great design and at this minute he is at a meeting with the other parents to get the process going. Its going to be a very busy few months, but its all worth it and although its going to be very secretive till gala day,i can't wait to share it with you all
