Gala Makes Part 2 Traynes, Flowers and Boleros

One of the makes i have been making, is the traynes, both of them one for the Queen and one for the Princess. The Queens trayne was actuality harder even though i was altering an old one we already had. i changed they lining colour from coral to Aqua, and made and gem ed up this panel to go on to it.The TC stands for Thornton Cleveleys.

The coral colored on id the original one that i copied.

With the left over fabric i made them a cushion each, this was to put the crown on during the crowning ceremony and as a keep sake after

Next i sorted out the Flowers, they had been bought in the wrong color mint green, so i got some aqua glitter and dipped the green flowers in it, they looked really effective, then i glued aqua ribbon around the stems

Next the Princess Trayne, i made this one from scratch and really love it, lots of Bling!

No this is an old picture, but i made this bolero for each member of the retinue in sparkly white wool, they really suit the aqua dresses

So despite not doing much knitting and crochet in the months before gala, is till did lots of making!

I am desperate now to finish some of my own projects and an slowly getting back into spending quite time working on them and i am hopeful the summer hols will give me more chance x
