This year as i have the bike trailer i decided to take Molly, Ewan and Fred, Alex stayed with Mum.
We didn't get very far before i had a flat tyre on the trailer , but Paul pumped it up and we were on our way
Fred was so excited, he made it all the way there but fell asleep on the way back, as Molly has only been cycling for about 6 weeks we decide to only do half the route which was about 6 miles, she was amazing and didn't complain once think it was pure Adrenalin and excitement that kept her going and she was way in front of me, who was struggling with the trailer a bit, mainly due to it being so hilly, the route i have been taking with it up to now were quite flat, but the prom is really hilly. just before we got back i swapped with Paul and he reckons its more because my bike is knackered, well i had it from new 16 years ago and its not really been used much and was sat for years in a leaky shed till we got the new one and has not really been looked after until recently, so it looks like i will need to get a new bike
The next morning i really really hurt, in fact i hurt for the rest of the week and my hip and back were in a bad way, so the next morning i supervised the kids in the new garden from the comfort and warmth of the hot tubby
Bliss xx
Laura and Martin also rode through the lights and enjoyed it especially the chips afterward.
